Who operates this website
ResumePetal is operated by Ben Van Nimmen. Privacy questions can be sent to info@resumepetal.com.
CV data
Details entered in the CV designer stay editable in the browser. They are sent to the configured OpenAI API only when the user scans documents, improves text, or asks for AI design help.
Uploaded files and images
Uploaded source files are processed so AI can extract CV details. Browser-side image resizing is used where possible, and personal images are uploaded only when the user chooses them.
JSON exports
JSON export downloads the currently visible CV project to the user's device. The current public export flow does not need to save a project on the server.
Ads and cookies
The website includes configurable AdSense placements. If AdSense or another ad provider is enabled, that provider may use cookies or similar technologies for measurement and ad delivery.
